2D Manga Artist

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate 2D Manga Artist to bring stories to life through expressive character designs, dynamic compositions, and authentic manga-style artwork. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manga storytelling, panel flow, and visual emotion, as well as proficiency in digital drawing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality manga-style illustrations, character designs, and backgrounds.
• Develop storyboards and visual layouts based on scripts or story outlines.
• Design dynamic panels and page compositions that enhance storytelling flow.
• Collaborate closely with writers, editors, and colorists to ensure artistic consistency.
• Deliver finished black-and-white or colored manga pages within given deadlines.
• Maintain the art style consistent with the project’s tone and genre (shōnen, shōjo, seinen, etc.).
• Revise artwork based on feedback from the creative director or client.
• Prepare artwork files for web or print publication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a manga or comic artist (portfolio required).
• Strong drawing and inking skills in manga/anime style.
• Excellent sense of composition, anatomy, and facial expression.
• Familiarity with Japanese visual storytelling techniques and pacing.
• Proficiency in digital art tools (e.g., Clip Studio Paint, MediBang, Photoshop, or Procreate).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a creative team.
• Understanding of manga paneling, speech bubble placement, and tone effects.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
