2D/3D Apparel & Embellishment Mock-up Technician

Job Overview
This role is an extension of customer service with a cross-over in full-service apparel decoration and embellishment. It involves the creation, refinement and production of visual 2D/3D apparel mock-ups with and without decorative elements for custom manufactured and in-stock apparel. This job typically requires collaboration with customer service, production, and direct customer communication to ensure that the mocked-up visuals align precisely with the customer’s custom order request.

This position is ideal for someone with a blend of creative design and hands-on skills, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

GOAL: Develop visual mockups (2D/3D) with accurate pricing for customers placing simple to complex custom apparel and decorated apparel orders.

Key Responsibilities:

o Use company provided design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw) to create mockups.

o Modify mockups based on feedback from Customer Service Representatives, Sales Reps, and/or customers.

o Collaborate with Decoration Supervisor, management and Customer Service Staff to

• Produce accurate and on-time designs.
• Research, develop, and implement operational and software improvements to enhance efficiencies and accuracy

o Work closely with cross-functional teams (customer service and manufacturing) to ensure objectives are met on time.

o Ensure final mockups include accurate pricing and all decorative elements reflect the intended design, location, size/proportion, color and material requirements.

o Understand the complex artistic requirements of customer.

o As needed; communicate with customers to ensure all information is understood before orders enter production.

Qualifications:

• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign and Corel Products)
• Experience with Digitizing and Vector Decorating Software (Wilcom, EoS, Tajima Pulse, Corel Draw, Illustrator, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt designs based on feedback.
• Basic knowledge of materials and fabrication processes for various types of decoration embellishments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in apparel decoration and design, or visual merchandising.
• Knowledge of current trends in athletic and uniform/work apparel decoration, visual presentation, and branding.

Salary: $19-23 an hour depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
