3D Artist

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create 3D models for characters, props, vehicles, and environments.
  • Develop detailed, optimized textures for real-time rendering using PBR or hand-painted styles.
  • Implement assets into Unity, setting up prefabs, LODs, materials, and testing for visual fidelity.
  • Optimize assets for mobile platforms—keeping polycounts, draw calls, and texture memory in check.
  • Collaborate with game designers, animators, and developers to ensure visual consistency and functionality.
  • Maintain proper asset organization, documentation, and version control across projects.
  • Participate in regular reviews, critiques, and creative brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in 3D art production for mobile games or real-time applications.
  • Proficiency in Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Strong understanding of Unity’s asset pipeline: importing, material setup, prefab creation, etc.
  • Skilled in Substance Painter, Photoshop, or equivalent texturing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of UV mapping, texture baking, and normal maps.
  • Ability to work within mobile optimization constraints (low poly, small texture sizes, etc.).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A portfolio that clearly demonstrates your 3D modeling and texturing skills in a mobile game context.
