3D Modeling and 3D Printing Specialist

We’re at Layers 3D Printing and Modeling, looking for talent and skilled 3D Modeling & 3D Printing Specialist to join our team. You will be a key point of contact for clients and turn the inquiry to closed job. Your work will support our production team and help create professional printing designs and proposals that are accurate and clear.

Key Responsibilities:

3D Modeling & Design

• Create 3D models from almost any concept (artistic, organic, product and architectural)
• Design using software like: 3ds Max, Maya, Rhino (or similar tools)
• Modify and optimize client-provided files to be 3D Printable
• Prepare models suitable for 3D printing (geometry checks, wall thickness, tolerances)

3D Printing & Technical Execution

• Understand how different 3D printing technologies work and when you use each technology.
• Select the right material and print method based on application, strength, finish, and cost budget.
• Prepare files for printing (slicing, orientation, supports) to send it to production team
• Coordinate with the production team to start and schedule print jobs

Estimation & Client Communication

• Estimate printing time, material usage, and cost accurately
• Communicate professionally with clients to explain options, timelines, and limitations
• Support the sales team with 3D design, technical advices, and estimations

Project Coordination & Follow-Up

• Track projects from request → design → printing → delivery
• Follow up internally to ensure deadlines are met
• Update clients on progress and manage expectations
• Ensure projects are closed with client satisfaction

Quality Control

• Inspect printed parts to ensure they meet design requirements and quality standards
• Verify dimensions, surface finish, and overall output quality before delivery
• Coordinate with production to correct issues when needed
• Ensure the highest possible quality is delivered to clients

Office & Team Support

• Handle daily coordination related to jobs and client requests
• Maintain organized records of files, estimates, and job status
• Show leadership attitude in managing tasks and priorities

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in 3D modeling (3ds Max, Maya, Rhino, or similar)
• Solid understanding of 3D printing workflows and materials
• Ability to estimate jobs and explain them clearly to clients
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality prints
• Organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple jobs at once

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
