About the Role

We are looking for a skilled 3D Modeler with strong expertise in character and environment modeling, along with grooming and texturing skills, to join our creative team in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, artistic flair, and a solid understanding of the latest 3D production workflows used in games, films, or animation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D character, environment, and prop models that meet visual and technical requirements.
• Work on hair, fur, and cloth grooming using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Collaborate closely with concept artists, animators, and technical teams to bring designs to life.
• Optimize models for performance and efficient rendering while maintaining visual quality.
• Ensure proper topology, UV layouts, and texturing for seamless integration in pipelines.
• Participate in review sessions and implement feedback from Art Leads and Directors.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new tools, and technologies in 3D art and grooming.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Game Design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a 3D Modeler or Grooming Artist in gaming, film, or digital media.
• Strong proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Blender, or 3ds Max.
• Expertise in grooming tools such as XGen, Ornatrix, or Yeti.
• Experience in texturing and shading using Substance Painter, Mari, or Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, form, scale, proportion, and surface detail.
• Ability to interpret concept art and translate it into production-ready 3D assets.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity integration.
• Basic understanding of rigging and lighting workflows.
• A creative portfolio or demo reel showcasing 3D modeling and grooming work.
