Job Description: Packaging Visual Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Packaging Visual Designer to create high-quality realistic image mockups and short product videos for our packaging and printing website. The role focuses on visually showcasing custom packaging products to help customers understand structure, materials, finishes, and branding possibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create photorealistic 2D/3D mockups for packaging products including:
• Product boxes
• Rigid boxes
• Corrugated boxes
• Shopping bags
• Pouches and cartons
• Develop short product videos (5–20 seconds) for website use, social media, and ads
• Produce visuals in multiple formats:
• Website banners
• Product pages
• Thumbnails
• Social media posts
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and packaging accuracy

Required Skills

• Strong experience with 3D mockup and visualization tools, such as:
• Blender / Cinema 4D / 3ds Max
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Canva
• Ability to source and create mockups
• Basic motion/animation skills for:
• Rotations
• Unboxing animations
• Exploded views
• Attention to detail and print realism

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in packaging, printing, or product visualization
• Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of CMYK, PMS colors, and print finishes
• Experience with eCommerce or B2B product websites

Deliverables

• High-resolution mockup images (JPEG/PNG/WebP)
• Short product videos (MP4)
• Editable source files
• Multiple angles and material variations when required

Work Type

• Full-time (in house)

How to Filter the Right Candidate

Ask for:

• Packaging mockup samples (not logos or posters)
• 3D renders showing box structure
• Product videos or animations
• Ability to create custom mockups from die lines

Test Task (Highly Recommended)

Create a realistic mockup of a rigid magnetic box with matte lamination and gold foil logo, including one image and a 10-second unboxing video
