4th Grade Teacher Mentor

Will provide mentoring for the new teacher at MIS
Qualifications:

• West Virginia Professional Teaching or Student Support Certificate
• Currently employed by Hardy County Schools
• Three (3) years successful elementary school experience preferred
• Preference given to MIS teachers of the grade level indicated
• Mentor Training preferred
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
• The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Additional Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year Only.
Salary: $300.00 paid with state mentor funds.
