Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Engage with guests enthusiastically to create a lively, memorable experience while providing expert recommendations on drinks and menu items.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain detailed sales records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and promoting responsible drinking.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service to ensure seamless delivery of beverages alongside meals or catering events.
  • Handle cashing out procedures efficiently using retail math skills; balance registers at shift end while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
  • Assist with banquet, nightclub, or catering events as needed, demonstrating flexibility across different hospitality settings.
  • Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while delivering prompt customer service.
  • Uphold all food handling protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments or high-volume nightlife venues such as nightclubs or banquet settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and sales processing.
  • Strong background in food safety practices, food handling, and responsible alcohol service laws.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
  • Familiarity with retail math, cash handling, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
  • Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector with an emphasis on beverage preparation and serving.
  • Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus; previous catering or banquet experience is highly valued.
