Talent Acquisition Specialist | Hiring for Autism Services (ABA)

Autism 360 is seeking an experienced and energetic Recruiter to support our growing Talent Acquisition team.

This role plays a critical part in helping Autism 360 build exceptional teams serving children with autism and their families. The Recruiter will focus on candidate interviews, hiring events, and candidate engagement, ensuring that qualified and passionate professionals move efficiently through the hiring process.

The Recruiter reports directly to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and works closely with leadership to support hiring across multiple Autism 360 locations.

This is a Monday through Friday position from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM based in our Charlotte University office, with travel to other Autism 360 locations as needed.

Position Overview

The Recruiter plays a key role in supporting high volume hiring across Autism 360 centers. This position focuses primarily on interviewing candidates, evaluating fit for the role, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.

The ideal candidate is comfortable conducting multiple interviews each day while maintaining a positive and engaging candidate experience.

This role requires someone who enjoys speaking with people, assessing potential, and helping individuals find meaningful careers supporting children with autism.

Work Schedule and Location
  • Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Based in the Charlotte (University) corporate office.

  • Travel to other Autism 360 locations may be required up to two times per week to support hiring events or recruiting operations.

  • Candidates must live in the Charlotte area and be able to reliably travel to multiple sites as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $50,000 to $60,000 annually based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct candidate interviews for Behavior Technician and Registered Behavior Technician roles

  • Manage a daily interview schedule of approximately 3 to 5 interviews per day

  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, communication skills, and alignment with Autism 360 values

  • Guide candidates through the hiring process from interview through offer stage

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support hiring goals across multiple centers

  • Participate in and help host hiring events at Autism 360 locations

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS and recruiting trackers

  • Communicate with candidates to provide updates and support throughout the hiring process

  • Help ensure a positive and welcoming candidate experience for individuals interested in working in ABA and autism services

Systems and Tools Used

This role regularly works within several recruiting and HR systems including:

  • TeamTailor (ATS)

  • ADP Workforce Now

  • Brightwheel

  • CentralReach

  • Microsoft Office

  • Zoom

  • Dropbox

Comfort working across multiple systems and managing candidate pipelines is important for success in this role.

Ideal Background
  • 1 or more years of recruiting, interviewing, or talent acquisition experience

  • Experience conducting interviews and evaluating candidates in a structured hiring process

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to conduct multiple interviews each day while maintaining a professional and engaging candidate experience

  • Comfort speaking with candidates both one on one and in group hiring event environments

  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple candidates and interview schedules simultaneously

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Autism 360 locations as needed

  • Experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or familiarity with the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), autism services, or behavioral health is highly preferred.
