ABAP Developer – SuccessFactors Replication-Senior Analyst

As an ABAP Developer for SuccessFactors Replication at Accenture, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP ABAP solutions to enable seamless integration and data replication between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA (HCM/Payroll/Finance). You will work closely with functional consultants and technical teams to ensure accurate and efficient data replication, supporting critical business processes such as employee data management, payroll, and organizational structures. This role requires strong technical expertise in ABAP development, integration technologies, and a solid understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central and related modules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development and Customization:

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, interfaces, and reports to support SuccessFactors Employee Central replication to SAP.

• Work with BAPIs, IDocs, OData, and middleware tools (e.g., SAP CPI) to ensure accurate and timely data transfer between systems.

• Develop and optimize replication programs for employee data, organizational structures, payroll-relevant data, and time-related information.

2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

• Troubleshoot integration issues, analyze logs, and implement fixes for data replication errors.

• Provide technical support for replication processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

3. Testing and Validation:

• Assist in testing cycles (unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)) by preparing test scripts and validating replication results end-to-end.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data replication through rigorous testing and validation.

4. Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with functional HCM, Payroll, and SuccessFactors consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test scripts, and user guides.

• Provide knowledge transfer and training to support teams to ensure smooth operations post-implementation.

5. Compliance and Optimization:

• Ensure compliance with performance, security, and data privacy requirements in replication programs.

• Optimize ABAP solutions to improve performance and scalability for large-scale data replication scenarios.

Technical Expertise:

• 2-4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP S/4HANA integration.

• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including BAPIs, IDocs, OData, and middleware tools such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

• Strong understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central replication scenarios, including employee data, organizational structures, payroll, and time-related information.

• Experience in troubleshooting integration issues and analyzing logs for data replication errors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
