Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including split units, package units, window ACs, VRF/VRV systems, and chiller units.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in air-conditioning systems using testing tools and instruments.
- Perform repairs for compressors, fan motors, thermostats, PCB boards, and refrigerant piping.
- Handle refrigerant recovery, charging, leak testing, brazing, and welding as required.
- Respond to daily maintenance requests and ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Maintain service logs, job cards, and checklists for all completed work.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of tools, PPE, and maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, team leaders, and other technicians to complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Basic understanding of BMS and control systems is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
