With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a seasoned General Technician with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha.

Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.

Your role will be included but not limited to:

• Carry out preventive maintenance for air conditioning and ventilation systems across the hotel
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair AC, HVAC, electrical, and related mechanical issues
• Respond promptly to guest and operational requests related to air conditioning and cooling systems
• Work closely with engineering and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential AC and HVAC maintenance requirements
• Prioritize and resolve urgent breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime
• Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new AC and HVAC equipment
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local regulations
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new AC technologies and best practices
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment performance
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role with a 5* hotel
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
