Academic Coordinator (Textbook Publishing)

About the Role

Kifayat Publishers is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Academic Coordinator to support the development, alignment, and quality assurance of our educational content. The ideal candidate will work closely with authors, editors, and curriculum experts to ensure our textbooks and learning materials meet curriculum standards and support measurable student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and review of textbook content to ensure curriculum alignment and academic accuracy
• Support curriculum mapping and lesson planning across subject areas
• Ensure content aligns with clearly defined student learning outcomes
• Stay informed about current trends in education, pedagogy, and curriculum frameworks
• Collaborate with authors, reviewers, and internal teams to maintain academic quality
• Assist in developing teacher guides, assessments, and supplementary learning resources

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related academic field
• Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
• Strong understanding of student learning outcomes and assessment alignment
• Knowledge of current educational trends, curriculum standards, and teaching methodologies
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with schools, educators, or publishing houses
• Familiarity with national or international curriculum frameworks
• Ability to review and provide academic feedback on instructional content
