Academic Counsellor

We’re seeking Academic Counsellors to join our EdTech team, guiding students from 8th to 12th grade (State & CBSE) in achieving academic excellence. You’ll mentor students online and offline, provide career guidance, and help them set and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Mentoring:

- Guide students in setting academic goals, creating study plans, and improving performance.

- Conduct regular one-on-one or group counseling sessions (online/offline).

- Address students’ academic concerns, exam stress, and learning challenges.

2. Career Guidance:

- Help students choose the right stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) post-10th.

- Provide insights on career paths, higher education options, and competitive exams.

3. Parent Interaction:

- Conduct parent meetings to discuss student progress and suggest improvement strategies.

- Keep parents updated on their child’s academic performance.

4. Collaboration:

- Work with teachers, content team, and tech support to ensure student success.

- Identify learning gaps and suggest improvements in curriculum delivery.

5. Track Progress:

- Monitor student attendance, performance, and engagement.

- Provide regular feedback and suggest interventions for underperforming students.

Requirements:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English + regional language).

- Proficiency in Basic Computer Skills.

- Empathetic, patient, and result-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with State/CBSE curricula and exam patterns.

- Familiarity with psychometric assessments or student evaluation tools.
