Academic Counselor

Responsibilities

• Assess students' academic strengths, weaknesses, and interests to determine their educational goals
• Provide guidance and support to students in developing realistic academic plans
• Help students explore and understand available educational programs and career opportunities
• Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and extracurricular activities
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide intervention when necessary
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure students' academic success
• Provide support and guidance to students facing challenges in their academic journey
• Stay up to date with educational trends and resources to provide accurate and relevant information to students

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field
• Proven experience working as an Academic Counselor or similar role
• Solid understanding of educational systems and curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
