Overview
Sussex Player Development is a UK-based football coaching company focused on elite technical development for young players. We are expanding internationally and launching our first UAE academy in Dubai. Our philosophy combines high-level training with an engaging, player-focused environment designed to maximise development and enjoyment.

The Academy Manager will be responsible for launching, delivering, and growing the Dubai-based academy. This is a leadership role combining coaching, operations, and business development.

You will effectively run your own academy under the Sussex Player Development brand.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Deliver and Oversee all coaching sessions (U7–U14 age groups)
• Lead striker-specific sessions and private 1-to-1 training
• Ensure all sessions follow the Sussex Player Development methodology
• Maintain high coaching standards and session quality
• Organise weekly training schedules
• Secure and manage training facilities
• Manage equipment and session setup
• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the academy
• Recruit and retain players
• Build relationships with local schools and communities
• Promote the academy through outreach and local networking
• Support marketing campaigns and lead generation
• Recruit and manage assistant coaches as needed
• Ensure coaching staff meet quality and professionalism standards
• 35% share of monthly net profit

Requirements

• Experience coaching youth football (U7–U14)
• UAE Soccer or UEFA coaching qualifications
• Experience working in an academy environment
• Experience running or managing programs
• Strong understanding of player development
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead sessions independently and manage a program
• Driven, reliable, and professional
• DBS/Safeguarding Checked & Certified
• First Aid Qualified
