Accident Investigation Engineer

What You'll Do

• Conduct accident and incident investigations related to road and transport systems.
• Undertake follow-up actions from inspections, audits, program evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on safety and accident findings.
• Report accidents, near misses, and hazards promptly.
• Submit measurable objectives to section and department management.
• Provide timely and professional responses to employee requests and inquiries.
• Critically review internal and external reports and publications related to safety.
• Participate in training and development programs related to accident investigation.
• Liaise with specialist contractors to support accident investigation processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all investigations, findings, and recommendations.
• Provide technical support for inspection, monitoring, and safety regulation activities.
• Remain available 24/7 to attend accident scenes and incidents involving RTA transport activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
