My client, a leading integrated communications agency, is looking for an experienced
Account Director
to join their growing Social Media team. This role will be pivotal in leading corporate accounts, driving strategic digital storytelling, and ensuring world-class delivery across platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow a portfolio of corporate and B2B clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all social media strategy and execution.

Develop data-driven social media strategies that support clients’ corporate reputation, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement.

Oversee always-on content, campaign rollouts, and community management across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

Manage a team of social media managers and executives, providing mentorship, direction, and performance oversight.

Partner with creative, paid media, PR, and strategy teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Lead senior-level client relationships, advising C-suite stakeholders with confidence and authority.

Drive measurement and reporting, linking social activity to tangible business outcomes.
What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in social media/digital marketing, with at least 3 years in an Account Director or equivalent leadership role.

Proven track record managing large-scale corporate or B2B social accounts (finance, government, energy, tech, or similar sectors).

Strong understanding of corporate communications, digital reputation management, and crisis handling on social platforms.

Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Commercially minded, with experience in growing accounts and identifying new opportunities.

A team leader who thrives in fast-paced agency environments.
