Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Record all daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and issue professional fee invoices in compliance with the firm’s billing policies.
- Track receivables and follow up with clients for outstanding dues.
- Ensure timely payment and filing of TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory dues.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and tax filings.
- Process monthly salaries, reimbursements, and staff advances.
- Manage petty cash and reimburse firm-related expenses.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage vendor payments, office overheads, and supplier reconciliations.
- Handle bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund transfers.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Income Tax.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with lawyers, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in accounting.
