Account Executive

Summary

We are looking for a high performing Account Executive (AE) whose primary responsibility will be managing the full sales cycle, from qualified appointments to successfully closing deals and generating revenue for Cedar Financial. This role works hand-in-hand with the SDR team. You will take warm, qualified meetings, conduct discovery calls, deliver compelling presentations, negotiate terms, and close new business. The focus is strictly on converting prospects into long term clients.

Responsibilities & KPIs

Discovery Calls & Presentations

• Conduct 12 - 18 discovery calls and product demonstrations per week.

• Deliver tailored presentations showcasing Cedar Financial’s debt collection and receivables management solutions to decision-makers.

Pipeline & Deal Management

• Manage and advance a healthy sales pipeline using CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce).

• Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue.

• Track opportunities from the meeting stage to closed-won.

Negotiation & Closing

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.

• Achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales/revenue targets.

• Maintain high win rates and shorten sales cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

• Solid experience as an Account Executive or in full cycle B2B sales (fintech, SaaS, or professional services preferred).

• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
