This role involves closing deals and driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. Developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting market research and collaborating with internal teams to meet the targets and bring in revenue for the company. Team Lead and Account Manager
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and connect with new clients through calls, networking and events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Regularly follow up to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction
Sales Process
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase solutions
- Prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close deals
- Coordinate smooth handovers to the customer success or the relevant team
- Keep client information and sales activities updated in the CRM
Collaboration
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve targets
- Work closely with marketing, product and customer success teams
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing clients
- Manage end-to-end tasks and process all commissions and spiffs before the deadline from management
Reporting & Performance
- Share regular sales reports and pipeline updates with the account manager
- Review sales data to track progress and identify improvement areas
- Provide client feedback to help improve products and processes
Leadership
- Support and guide junior team members on sales tasks
- Lead with a professional and client-focused approach
Conversion & Closing
- Handle objections confidently and convert prospects into clients
- Create urgency and value-driven proposals to accelerate deal closures
- Follow a structured sales approach to improve win rates
Competitive Positioning
- Clearly communicate the company’s values against competitors
- Stay updated about competitor offerings, pricing and market positioning
- Use competitive insights to refine sales strategies
