Essential Duties:

The Account Manager is responsible for driving growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Water Treatment and Recycling business. This role combines strong technical understanding with commercial acumen to develop and maintain key client relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver sustainable, high-value solutions. The Account Manager will work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution and ongoing customer support.

  • Generate business leads and following up on sales opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow existing accounts and secure new business within the water treatment and recycling market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at all organizational levels — field, operational, and executive.
  • Identify customer needs and propose technical and commercial solutions that align with TETRA’s service capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and profitability models to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and engineering to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding system performance, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the water and recycling sector.
  • Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote company capabilities and strengthen brand presence.
  • Generate weekly sales and activity reports summarizing account status, pipeline development, and key performance indicators.
  • Support and ensure accuracy in the ticketing, invoicing, and contract management processes.
  • Actively participate in the resolution of customer issues, implementing solutions that reinforce service quality and reliability.
  • Partner with the broader commercial team to develop business development strategies that drive profitability and customer retention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business success.

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • EXPERIENCE: 10+ years’ experience in Water Treatment and/or Recycling business
  • TRAVEL: 20%
  • OTHER:
    • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
    • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
