Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team in our Denver, CO office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.
The Account Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements for a set number of the Company’s clients. The Account Manager will oversee the client service for their clients and be the single point of contact for client questions and requests. This position will contribute to a high performing, collaborative team culture and model of Grassi’s values and behaviors. The Account Manager reports directly to the Accounting Team Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Reviewing all income statements monthly and preparing monthly client checklist and sending to all clients to ensure they have accurate monthly data
  • Reviewing general ledger accounts monthly and making monthly accruals and adjustments
  • Managing client correspondence and information requests within one business day
  • Providing feedback and support to internal teams
  • Supporting accurate chart of accounts mapping
  • Identifying data quality issues and errors, investigating data discrepancies and escalating
  • Contributing to continuous improvement activities that expand and improve practices and services
  • Performing other accounting activities as required
  • Demonstrating firm core values consistently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum three (3) years or more of full-cycle bookkeeping related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in performing financial reviews of accounts with client
  • Preferred - Demonstrated experience working with Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero and/or R365
  • Strong proficiency in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping
  • Demonstrates a passion for bookkeeping, client servicing and seeing accurate results
  • Must have the highest attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead and collaborate with others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organization, planning and time management skills

Compensation for this role is determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to your relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes performance-based incentives, wellness and retirement programs, and opportunities for continuous professional development.
Salary ranges are provided to offer transparency and may vary depending on final candidate qualifications and local market conditions. Please find compensation information below for candidates residing in Denver, CO.
Denver ranges are from $70,000 – $90,000
