Description

Responsibility

1. Compliance Entity Project Launch

• Work closely with Group Finance, Product & R&D, Project Management, and local business teams to provide compliance-entity requirements in accounting & reporting, treasury & account management, process governance, and business analysis, thereby delivering robust financial support for the Group’s local project rollout.

2. Day-to-Day Financial Management of the Compliance Entity

• Partner with Group Finance to oversee comprehensive financial operations and management of the compliance entity; design accounting treatment frameworks for cryptocurrencies/digital assets to ensure compliance with both IFRS and local GAAP.
• Collaborate with Group Finance on local budgeting, operating analysis, process control, and daily financial operations to ensure the effective implementation of the Group’s financial control model.

3. External Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with external audit firms and support Group Finance in completing the annual statutory audit of the compliance entity.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and assist Group Finance with tax filings and all other tax-related matters for the compliance entity.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related disciplines; holders of CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in finance within the financial services or internet sectors; prior experience with Web3/crypto exchanges highly advantageous.
3. In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and familiarity with local GAAP.
4. Proficient in using major ERP systems.
5. Fluent spoken and written English, capable of using English as a working language.
