Job Summary
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Bedbank division. Acting as the face of HBX Group to our suppliers, you will manage a defined portfolio of hotels within a specific geographic area. Your role will focus on optimizing supplier performance, negotiating competitive rates, and ensuring strong relationships to maximize revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
  • Lead contracting and negotiation processes with hotel suppliers in B2B and B2C environments.
  • Secure competitive rates and favorable terms, including inventory, offers, release periods, and cancellation policies.
  • Monitor hotel performance and collaborate with Yield Managers to ensure competitiveness and availability.
  • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Resolve major supplier or client issues, ensuring positive outcomes.
  • Promote HBX Group´s’ value proposition and marketing tools to optimize supplier income.
  • Analyze reports and identify opportunities to increase profitability and room night production.
  • Represent HBX Group professionally at meetings, networking events, and trade shows.
Skillset and Experience Required
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio effectively.
  • Proven track record of achieving results in contracting or account management roles.
  • Knowledge of assigned destination and suppliers (minimum 2 years experience preferred).
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
