Account Manager – Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Account Manager who will manage existing client relationships while also closing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will ensure client satisfaction, drive retention, and contribute to revenue growth through both account management and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Understand client needs and ensure satisfaction

2. Account Management

  • Manage day-to-day client communications
  • Ensure smooth delivery of services/products
  • Monitor account performance and client success

3. Closing New Accounts

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales opportunities
  • Convert leads into paying clients
  • Conduct sales calls and presentations
  • Negotiate and close deals effectively

4. Upselling & Revenue Growth

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Expand existing accounts
  • Drive overall revenue growth

5. Communication & Coordination

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Ensure timely execution of client deliverables
  • Keep clients updated on progress and results

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track KPIs (revenue, retention, account growth)
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Provide regular reports to management and clients

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Account Management and/or Sales Closing
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
  • Ability to manage accounts and close deals
  • Target-driven and client-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, digital marketing, or service-based industry
  • Experience working with international clients
