KWS Vegetables Türkiye is looking for an exceptional Account Manager with focus on the Middle East & Central Asia. This role is designed to drive our sales and market strategy, aligning with the company's overall objectives to ensure sustained growth and profitability in the global vegetables sector. The ideal candidate will possess strategic insight, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the vegetable seeds sector in this vast region covering major countries such as Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, etc. up to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, etc.
This is a full-time and permanent position with location preferably in Antalya, Türkiye.
Key Duties:

Development of the KWS Vegetables seeds portfolio and market share via distributors and large accounts within the assigned countries

Building and managing strategic relationships between KWS and the accounts to achieve agreed revenue targets and strategic objectives

Developing mutually agreed business plans with key customers

Driving account-specific actions/campaigns as part of an account plan

Identifying account insights to improve customer services for the accounts

Monitoring market developments and reporting market data and information on acreage, seed prices, competitive activity, trade and consumer issues and trends in the assigned territory

Supporting the trial plan and evaluating product performance to determine the added value of new varieties in the assigned territory

Supporting distributors, growers, packers and retailers with the introduction and promotion of varieties and new product concepts in the assigned territory to increase market share

Developing solutions that meet objectives and turn them into business revenue
Key Performance Indicators:

Building a network of distributors/dealers to expand sales of KWS varieties in the designated markets while establishing strong relations with key contacts and influencing bodies in the countries

Monitoring seed registration processes, sales and profit performance along with payments and collections on time

Good understanding and the ability of anticipating the market dynamics in time to achieve consistency in processes and growth of market share

Variety launch and promotion studies as well as trial and demonstration follow-ups

Ensuring full compliance with legal/regulatory (ethic, HSE, risk man.) bodies and implementing a complaint management system in the region

Maintaining well-defined account plans in CRM as to customer needs and strategies

Achievement of sales action plan

Core Competencies, Skills & Experience:

Requires a minimum of a B.Sc. in Agronomy or Horticulture

At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or production within the agricultural industry, achieving actual business results

Exposure to international vegetable seed business with solid understanding of the vegetable seed business dynamics

Experienced motivator/communicator and high level of contact skills: strong management, team player and coaching skills

Fluent in English & Arabic

Willingness to travel at least 50% across the region and to Türkiye
