Account Manager (Sales) – Cyber Security

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow key customer accounts within the Cyber Security domain. This role focuses on building strong, long-term client relationships, driving renewals and revenue growth, and acting as a trusted advisor by aligning customer business needs with appropriate solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Services & Account Ownership

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Act as the single point of contact between clients and internal teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business, operational, and technology needs.
  • Proactively identify customer risks, needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Handle and resolve client complaints and escalations professionally.
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations, contractual commitments, and service delivery.
  • Manage account-level commercial aspects including pricing, margins, budgets, and profitability.
  • Gather structured customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain close engagement with customers to support future business initiatives.

Business Development & Sales

  • Manage assigned accounts against KPIs, targets, renewals, and expansion goals.
  • Drive revenue growth through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification and deal closure.
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer and company objectives.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and revenue forecast in CRM.
  • Lead commercial negotiations related to renewals, pricing, and scope changes.
  • Review and support RFPs, proposals, contract renewals, and amendments.
  • Ensure timely collections and payment follow-ups in coordination with finance.
  • Preferably develop accounts in Banking, Insurance, Government/Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, Financial or Telecom sectors.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Prepare and present account performance reports, forecasts, and metrics.
  • Monitor performance against monthly and quarterly targets and take corrective actions.
  • Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
  • Identify industry trends and attend relevant industry events.
  • Communicate progress and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in the Cyber Security domain.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets with key accounts.
  • Experience managing accounts with cumulative sales of USD 2–5 million or above in the last 2 years.
  • Experience selling to Financial or Telecom industry customers.
  • Strong experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with medium to large organizations and structured procurement processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Relevant Cyber Security or enterprise technology sales certifications.
