Account officer

Responsibilites

• Ensure the company’s compliance with all tax regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns, including income tax, VAT, sales tax, and any other applicable taxes.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on necessary actions.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize the company’s tax position.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to tax matters.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements with a focus on tax-related disclosures.
• Reconcile tax accounts and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure that all tax-related documents and records are organized and stored securely.
• Maintain an archive of past tax returns and related correspondence.
