Account Receivable Executive

Lahore, Pakistan

The Accounts Receivable Executive will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable ledger to identify overdue payments.
  • Follow up with clients via calls, emails, and reminders to ensure timely collections.
  • Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or disputes.
  • Prepare and maintain aging reports, cash receipts, and collection reports.
  • Coordinate with the sales and finance teams regarding billing issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to minimize bad debts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1–3 years) in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar finance role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience in handling international clients and foreign currency transactions.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to receivables.
  • Exposure to healthcare/IT/retail/finance industry (customize as per your company).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
