Accountant (US based Accounting is Must)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant & Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of working with US-based clients and possess a deep understanding of US accounting standards, tax regulations, and bookkeeping practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts with precision and accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle payroll processing, tax filings, and year-end reporting for US clients.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow and budgeting for clients.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals as needed.
• Provide financial insights and support to clients, ensuring their financial stability and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting and bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 years working with US-based clients.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Xero, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, payroll regulations, and tax codes.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based financial tools and applications.
• Familiarity with US state-specific tax regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
