GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to provide customer service, which includes assisting customers with inquiries, processing payments, cash handling, and performing assigned accounting duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees and manages undistributed FOC collections; generates and reviews reports for reconciliation and resolution. Determine the course of action for the distribution of payments.

Submits requests to the Michigan State Disbursement Unit (MiSDU) for fund release, allocation, and distribution.
- Facilitates distribution of held payments.

Balances daily payments, reconciles the cash drawer and prepares and verifies bank deposits.
- Assists with alerts and overflow work from the State Liaison.

Serves as a point of contact, answering client inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.

Performs related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience

At least two years of relevant college-level course work or an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or a related field.

1 to 3 years of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or cash-handling experience.

Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
