Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations, and support procurement processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss reports
• Handle VAT payments and submissions
• Manage subcontractor payments and records
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients for invoicing and collections
• Support government submissions
• Assist in payroll, petty cash, and loan repayments
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and legal advisors as needed
• Maintain QuickBooks and other accounting software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in MEP or Construction
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with project-based accounting
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Coordination with Procurement and HR departments
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
