Job Title: Accountant

Job Purpose:

To manage daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records, support budgeting and audit processes, and maintain compliance with accounting standards within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform daily, monthly, and yearly financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on collections.
• Prepare reports for management including cash flow, sales performance, and profitability.
• Support inventory accounting, stock audits, and cost of goods sold analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with inventory management and costing.
• Knowledge of regional taxation laws and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for inter-departmental tasks.
