Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and consolidating financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial statements such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and suggest improvements.
  • Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) as an Accountant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP/IFRS.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
