Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 10+ years of relevant experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and guiding junior staff. This position requires strong leadership, advanced accounting knowledge, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS as applicable).
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Prepare and review budget forecasts, variance analysis, and financial performance reports.
• Handle tax planning, GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in a timely manner.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by management.
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and professional growth.
• Streamline processes and suggest improvements in accounting systems and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s/CA/CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, practices, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and mentoring.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
