Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, handling vendor/customer payments, and supporting management in financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliations, and bank transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, CA, and tax consultants for filing and compliance.
• Generate MIS reports, P&L statements, and cash flow analysis for management.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Support internal financial processes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (FMCG/Agri/Trading sector preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks or similar software.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Financial modeling).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
