Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support decision-making through accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits
• Stay up-to-date with financial policies, regulations, and legislation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or ACCA preferred)
• Proven experience (X years) as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
