Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic financial decisions. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the courier or logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Ensure proper tax compliance and timely filing of returns.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Contribute to financial analysis and support decision-making for improving profitability.

Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 35 years
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in an accounting role; experience in the courier or logistics industry is preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and tax laws
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
