Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and supporting financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and prepare VAT filings
• Generate financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate with external auditors when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• CPA, ACCA, or CA certification is a plus
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
