Accountant

Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in the UAE or GCC to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Prepare and maintain financial documents such as invoices, vouchers, and journal entries
• Perform bank reconciliations (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
• Monitor cash flow and keep accurate financial records
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with Corporate Tax requirements in the UAE
• Maintain ledgers and support daily accounting operations
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE or GCC
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
• Familiar with accounting software like QuickBooks, Zoho
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
