Accountant

Lahore, Pakistan

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role is critical in supporting sound financial decision-making and the overall financial health of the company.

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all ledgers are accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor company’s financial performance and provide insights or suggestions
  • Process payroll and handle employee reimbursements
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
  • Support audits, tax preparation, and financial assessments
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as an Accountant (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Understanding of inventory and cost accounting

Job Timmings: 9:00AM - 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
