Accountant

Location: Seera Village near Rahon Road
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Salary: ₹17,000-22,000

Job Description:
We are looking for an Accountant with advanced knowledge of Tally to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate must be experienced in the textile industry and capable of managing various accounting tasks, including cost analysis, maintaining party ledgers, and generating invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Tally at an advanced level to manage all accounting functions
• Create and maintain incoming and outgoing challans
• Maintain party ledgers and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Generate bills for parties and collaborate with the collections team for payment invoices
• Track and record invoices from suppliers and maintain a proper record of all financial transactions
• Conduct cost calculation analysis to support business operations
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and financial accuracy
• Obtain challan receipts from drivers on a daily basis
• Manage communication with parties regarding due payments
• Collaborate with the collection team to ensure timely payments
• Assist in the upgrading of financial systems and processes within the organization
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Support the organization in improving and upgrading financial processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with external partners
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain data integrity
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, and familiarity with tax laws and regulations

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience working in the Dyeing industry
• Advanced proficiency in Tally and Excel
• Strong understanding of financial documentation, ledger maintenance, and cost analysis
• Experience in working with suppliers, maintaining invoices, and handling due payments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to commute to our location in Seera Village and have reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Open to working with other departments and taking on additional responsibilities

Reporting:
The Accountant will report directly to the Owner of Aura Industries.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ludhiana, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
