Accountant

The Hospital Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations of the hospital, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures accurate financial records, oversees billing and collections, and collaborates with other departments to maintain financial health and support the hospital’s strategic objectives.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor hospital expenses and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Oversee payroll processing and benefits accounting.
  • Collaborate with billing and insurance departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate patient billing.
  • Conduct financial audits and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
  • Provide financial insights and support to management for decision-making.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial data.

Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.

Male candidates preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
