Accountant

Location: Dubai/Sharjah

Position: Accountant

Salary Range: 1,500 - 2,000 AED per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable Accountant to manage basic bookkeeping and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is well-suited for an individual who is already resident in the UAE and looking for a part-time or full-time opportunity with a flexible environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) or Excel.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Handle petty cash management and daily expense recording.

Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements (Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet).

Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed.

Assist with VAT return preparation and filing, if applicable.

Support the management with basic financial reports and analysis as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Mandatory: Must have a valid UAE residence visa (own visa).

Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar finance role.

High school diploma is required; a certification in Accounting

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly strong skills in Excel.

Experience with accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks is preferred.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Fluency in English is required;
