Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoicing, payments, and receipts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; follow up with clients/vendors for payments.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.
- Process employee reimbursements, payroll entries, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Support in financial audits, compliance checks, and liaising with auditors/consultants.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and assist management with financial analysis.
- Monitor subscription renewals, license payments, and other recurring software expenses.
- Work closely with management on budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA/ICWA Inter preferred but not mandatory).
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in IT/software/tech industry).
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software etc.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SaaS/Software industry financials and revenue recognition.
- Knowledge of international client billing and foreign remittances (FIRC, LUT, etc.).
- Understanding of compliance requirements for IT companies.
