About Us:

We are a dynamic consultancy based in Ahmedabad, working at the intersection of urban transport planning, mobility, and urban design. With clients across the public and private sectors, we manage complex projects that shape the future of Indian cities. As we grow, we are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day accounting: Record and maintain all financial transactions using Tally or equivalent software.

GST compliance: Prepare and file monthly/ quarterly GST returns, and coordinate with the external CA firm for accuracy and timely submission.

Payroll & employee reimbursements: Maintain salary records, process monthly payroll, and manage professional tax and TDS deductions.

Client billing: Prepare invoices for clients (public and private sector), track receivables, and follow up for timely payments.

Vendor payments: Track payables and ensure timely payments to vendors and consultants.

Banking & reconciliation: Handle banking transactions, reconcile bank statements, and manage cash flow.

Financial reporting: Prepare monthly financial summaries and assist in budgeting and internal reports.

Audit coordination: Liaise with the external CA firm for statutory audits, tax filings, and financial compliance.

Documentation & records: Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, tax filings, and statutory documents.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B. Com or equivalent).

● Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a professional services or consultancy environment.

● Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting workflows.

● Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

● Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams, vendors, and external consultants.

● Highly organized and able to manage multiple financial activities simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

● Experience with public sector billing processes (e.g. e-invoicing portals, PFMS, GeM, etc.)

● Familiarity with project-based financial tracking and reporting

● Exposure to timesheet-based billing or consultancy models
