We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to help manage the financial affairs of a private household in Bahrain. The role is focused on day-to-day accounting, expense tracking, and financial reporting to ensure smooth household operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with up to 5 years of accounting experience who values discretion, organization, and accuracy.
Main Responsibilities:- Keep clear and accurate records of household income, expenses, and petty cash.
- Prepare simple monthly and annual financial summaries for the family.
- Make sure all bills, school fees, utilities, and other payments are handled on time.
- Manage payroll and records for household staff.
- Work with banks, insurance providers, and outside accountants when needed.
- Organize financial documents and assist with tax or compliance requirements.
- Track budgets and provide updates on savings or spending trends.
- Support in planning for family-related financial goals such as travel, education, or investments.
Requirements:- 2–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping practices.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Clear communication skills to present financial updates in a simple way.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
