We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to help manage the financial affairs of a private household in Bahrain. The role is focused on day-to-day accounting, expense tracking, and financial reporting to ensure smooth household operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with up to 5 years of accounting experience who values discretion, organization, and accuracy.
Main Responsibilities

Keep clear and accurate records of household income, expenses, and petty cash

Prepare simple monthly and annual financial summaries for the family

Make sure all bills, school fees, utilities, and other payments are handled on time

Manage payroll and records for household staff

Work with banks, insurance providers, and outside accountants when needed

Organize financial documents and assist with tax or compliance requirements

Track budgets and provide updates on savings or spending trends

Support in planning for family-related financial goals such as travel, education, or investments
Requirements

2-3 years of accounting or finance experience

Good knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping practices

Comfortable using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of accounting software is a plus
