Campers Inn RV, a values-driven organization and the largest family-operated RV dealership is currently seeking an Accountant. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, great attention to detail, a methodical approach to work, ability to meet deadlines and be highly organized. This position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of assigned locations to ensure efficient and effective procedures with minimal errors are utilized.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinate accounting functions and programs for assigned locations
  • Review Accounts Receivable and deposit reports
  • Sublet Reconciliation
  • Prepare and maintain lead schedule
  • Manage sales tax payments
  • Utilize Spader accounting system for reports

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years accounting experience
  • Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven accounting experience
    • Working knowledge of multi-state tax laws & GAAP
    • Strong financial analysis skills
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and stress management skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications, such as Systems2K, as well as other applicable software
    • Ability to work in a primarily sedentary role in a climate-controlled environment
    • Ability to continuously engage in visual activities, such as use of computer, files, and reports
    • Ability to sit or bend for long periods of time
    • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 20 pounds
